The centre offers a full range of equestrian facilities, with indoor and outdoor ménages, providing lessons for children and adults in groups, or on an individual basis. The centre also encourages school parties and riding for the disabled. We look to cater for the individual and will always be prepared to discuss the personal requirements of our customers.
The centre hosts regular equestrian ‘teach ins’ and evening lecture demonstrations, featuring top riders from all disciplines including dressage, showing and eventing.
Our friendly, BHS qualified staff are always happy to welcome customers old and new at the Centre. If you feel you would benefit from a guided tour of the centre, before deciding to book a lesson, please book this with Reception on 0121 311 1601.
MEC has a weight limit of 15 stone for all riders, with effect from 1 May 2009. Please do not be offended if you are asked to step on the scales, this is for the health and safety of our horses and riders.
Important Client Registration documentation
Please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes early for your lesson as you will be required, for MEC insurance purposes to complete a Rider Registration and a Horse Riders Code of Conduct document on arrival.
Note: You will not be allowed to take part in any horse activity (mounted or un-mounted) until the form is completed therefore, if you are late to your lesson then it will be cut short. This is for the safety of the rider, the horse and Middleton Equestrian Centre.
had a groupon lesson on saturday last. Dawn is a
credit to you! She was fantastic. Made a nervous novice very confident come
the end of the lesson. The best lesson I've ever had. See you on the 28th
July, can't wait!
I just wanted to say thank you for having such a fantastic yard!
I came yesterday for a half hour trial lesson, having not ridden properly for 15 years. I have been struggling to find somewhere that was well looked after, with clean horses, and that suited me. I am happy to say I've finally found somewhere which is exactly what I'm looking for!
The yard was immaculate, the horses spotless, and the staff really friendly.
I can't wait to come back next weekend for my next lesson.
I just wanted to write to say how much I am enjoying my return to Middleton.
I was having lessons twenty years ago, and got as far as a bit of jumping, but alas I stopped.
I have retired from the police now and wanted to re engage with something I loved.
So here I am back at Middleton. I came to check it out, discovered "new owners" and was VERY impressed.
I am having lessons and hacks with Dawn, who I remember as a young girl. I am taking it steady as my 58 years dictate.
Dawn is great, she works hard. Gives me instruction, encouragement and confidence.
I am loving it, your staff are lovely and helpful. The surroundings excellent. The horses are obviously very well cared for . I am enjoying my variety of "characters" !
I just wanted to tell you, I am sure other people think it, but not many actually let you know.
