Bruno

I just came across somebody who has met you in Dubai so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to send you some pictures of Mastermind - Bruno.

Bruno is now living in Dubai with me and he has done amazingly well on the dressage circuit. He was UAE dressage champion in April 2010 and UAE World Dressage Challenge Champion in November 2009.

We are currently competing elementary and medium and will be starting to compete advanced medium and advanced in October when it cools down a little more.

Mastermind has proved to be the best horse I could have ever wished for.

I have attached a few recent photos for you to have a look at - maybe you could pass them onto Lewis also to have a look.

Thanks once again for selling me the best horse ever, I love him to bits and he will have a home for life with me.

I am currently managing Dubai Polo & Equestrian club which is great fun before moving onto the South of France to settle there where Bruno will also come with me.

Clyde

Ode to Clyde - By Martin Carruthers

Fifteen years ago I rode out every day,
But unfortunately MS came my way.

Good days, bad days, I hacked out for a while,
Until I went splat in a great big muddy pile.

Riding for me seemed well and truly over,
Until discovering the RDA at Condover!

Safe and confident and free from pain,
I can’t believe I’m riding once again,

Thank you Ladies, you taught me well,
I shall now have lots of stories to tell.

With love and joy and lots of pride,
I’d like you to meet my new pal... ‘Clyde’

  Martin Carruthers and Clyde

Clyde enjoying his new surroundingsClyde & MartinClyde has settled in very brilliantly & is doing really well. We all just love him to bits (including our other horses). He has given me so much confidence back, I have honestly never felt so safe on a horse. He has such a fantastic personality & is so gentle.

Couple of years ago I had all but given up on riding & now I'm planning to take him to riding-club & maybe even do some RDA / Para Dressage competition!

I started with 30 minute hacks & am now up to 90 minutes or more on a good day! Oh, and another unexpected thank-you to Kerry for Clyde's reins... I expect you think I'm nuts, but they are just the best ever. Great for Eventing I'm sure, but if like me you have a numb right hand the improved grip I get is excellent.

A quick note to let you know Clyde is doing really well.

He has settled in brilliantly & is now "best buddies" with Sarah's flash Russian Dressage Warm-blood "Villum".
Yesterday was a fantastic step for us as we took Clyde to his first competition!

The last time I rode in competition was as an able-bodied rider around 2002... So very a big-deal for me.

A low-key event (local riding club); I was apprehensive and totally useless. Only a walk / trot test, but I left the arena twice, was very crooked & off the center-line by a mile in the halt. Those are merely the "highlights"; the rest was on a par...

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! I don't care a fig, because Clyde was an perfect Star.

He loaded, travelled on his own, un-loaded, stood & was just wonderful. It is always an unknown doing this stuff with a new horse and Clyde just didn't put a foot wrong through the entire day.

When my foot collapsed (stress & nerves of the day) many horses would panic or react. Clyde... just took it all in his stride, stayed calm and waited patiently for me to sort myself out.

Fantastic, we can't thank you enough for a great new pal who has a very loving home.
Best wishes to all,
Martin xxx.

Thanks & best wishes, Martin

Hi Kerry and all at MEC,
Frankie & TommyFrankie & TommyFinally got Broadband here at Cucurrian Farm, horses have settled in really well the sea air seems to suit them. I've managed to clear up Frankie's sweet itch but he still has a bad temper and bosses Tommy around but they have bonded really well and are best mates. I take them out for a couple of hours hack about 3 times a week with my friend. I am starting to do some jumping with Frankie and hope to do some carriage work with Tommy later on this year with a local farmer who thinks he is magnificent and wants to show him, he has tuned out to be 100%. Hope you are all well, here are some photos for you. Best Regards......Karen

Dear Middleton Equestrian,

Sally - Ann is the best horse ever thank you very much for selling me this amazing horse. We have had a great time hacking out in the woods in a country park. Sally - Ann and I are booked to go to a show soon on the first of June so very soon! Since Sally Ann first walked out of the horse taxi everybody up at the stable yard said how beautiful she was and what a sweet pony she is! and I totally agree she is the greatest. thanks again for selling me Sally Ann. kind regards  Eleanor Spicer

DrummerDrummerHi Kerry & Friends of Drummer,
Drummer has been brilliant from the moment he walked down the ramp of the lorry, lovely lorry by the way. We went for our first hack today down into Blidworth Woods, there is a bit of roadwork to do which he didn't bat an eyelid at! He was an absolute star from start to finish. I think he really enjoyed himself. I haven't put him with my other horses yet, I don't want to risk any silly little accidents, When they all ignore each other that's when I'll put them all together. Hope your all not missing him to much. But you know where we are and your welcome to visit him anytime. Thank you very much for selling me just the horse I needed, I feel very lucky to have found him.
Thanks
Andrea

Dear All
I just thought I'd send a message to let you know that Bungle is doing really well. He settled very quickly and is very contented in his new home. He goes for lots of hacks and is schooled about 3 or 4 times a week - nothing too strenuous yet. Everyone on the yard loves him to bits, he is such a happy chap. Hopefully, I'll start showing him some time next year when he's built up his fitness and all the basics are in place. Please convey this message to all those that took care of him when he was with you.
Best regards
  Frances Willis

Hi Kerry and Staff,
Just to let you know that Whinnie has settled in really well and has been golden to handle all week. She has been very patient with us and was really good with the saddler. We have started riding her during the past two days and she has been fantastic and we are having good fun on her. Will let you know how we progress in the future. Thanks for allowing us to have her.
Best wishes
Hayley and Nigel

Hi Kerry,
Just to let you know we are absolutely in love with grace I couldn't be happier... she has just got on with things like she's always been here. my only problem so far is finding a decent saddle to fit!! she is quite deceiving in the shoulder isn't she. We have our 1st dressage next week so will let you know how she does, but just wanted you to know how pleased we are with her.
Many thanks,
Mandy Molyneux

Hi Kerry,
Just thought you would like an update on how Billie is getting on. She has been an absolute star! She is thoroughly enjoying getting to know Sarah and they have had so much fun together. She has bathed her Billy Pork Pieand both got as wet as each other, they have jumped, hacked out and schooled. They have done lots of work towards their first show out together on Sunday - they are doing Childs Mount and Young handler. She is out every day in the fields but with a muzzle - a bit too keen on the grass! She has made a new friend Sasha and they love being together and has a boyfriend Buddy. We have had so many compliments and kind words - but everyone is convinced she is a he because of the name  (I was questioned when trying to put her in the mare field!). She seems very happy and I am sure will enjoy her time as a best friend to my daughters. I will let you know how she gets on with the shows.
Thanks once again
- Lisa

May 13.1 dun mare, we brought may in august 2006 and unfortunately within days she was injured in the field and out of work until the end of September however we attended the last outdoor dressage of the season and got  placed 4th. Better has come this year with two 1st at Solihull, Swallowfield and a 2nd and two 3rd places at Lowlands, we have been jumping at Solihull and Chloe takes may to PC Rally's where the DC has fallen in love with May, watch out for her in the PC Dressage Team (unfortunately Chloe's not old enough to be in team until next yr). We love our little dun mare and be assured that when people comment on her, we let them know we purchased her from you!!

Jan and BillyHi Kerry,
Just thought I would drop you a quick note, to let you know Billy has settled in so well. He really is vocal, on arriving at the yard, you hear him before you see him! He is such a pleasure to own.  He really is a gentleman. Thank you so much. He has a home for life!!!
Love Jan and Billy xxx
